    About the Book

    Edit

It’s 2015, and Carrie March reluctantly agrees to play in a golf tournament as the token woman in the foursome. She works for the National Energy Board as an environmental regulator and is paired with Pete, the CEO of an oil and gas company. They argue environmental protection versus fossil fuel development at every opportunity. The conflict between them escalates after a seemingly innocuous accident involving the cart Carrie is driving. Jim and Dave, the other team members, come to her assistance in spite of their apprehension of crossing Pete. This tale of vengeance, complicated by a love triangle, begins and ends in Alberta with stops in the Arctic, Ontario and Montreal.
