The Forensic Art Project contains work that examines a crossover between art and science within a forensic science context producing a unique body of work. Each of the twenty images has a strong graphic element and uses photographic methods found in forensic investigation like double refraction photography and photomacrography. The subject matter are small everyday objects, like found objects from a crime scene, however, their treatment using forensic imaging methods and graphic design makes them stunning works of art.

Glenn Porter
Australia

Glenn Porter studied photography at the Sydney Institute of Technology and has a mix of art, science and photography qualifications. Glenn holds several postgraduate qualifications including a Graduate Diploma in Science from Sydney University, a Masters of Applied Science (Photography) from RMIT University and a PhD in Communication Arts from Western Sydney University. He has been recognised by the Royal Photographic Society with an imaging science distinction as an Accredited Senior Imaging Scientist (ASIS) and a Fellow (FRPS) of the Society. Glenn is further studying for a Masters of Art Photography from Falmouth University in the UK. He currently lives in Armidale New South Wales working for the University of New England within the Faculty of Humanities, Art, Social Science & Education. He has four children and two grandchildren with his wife Cathy.
