    Robert Haven is a well known tambour beading instructor in the United States who is certified by Lesage, the famed embroidery company in Paris. He has also earned a certificate in Hand Embroidery from the Royal School of Needlework. Robert’s work has been showcased in New Zealand, Canada, Mexico and England. A retired professor of costume technology at the University of Kentucky his theatrical career included creating costumes for the Univ of Michigan, Univ of Illinois as well as at the Old Globe theater and The Guthrie. He regularly teaches master classes in tambour beading in his Kentucky studio as well as at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Ryerson University in Toronto, and in Berkley CA. When not beading he can be found creating 1/12th scale miniature rooms.
