    About the Ebook

There is a world at night filled with emotional highs and lows that are disallowed during daylight hours. Where people are drawn out by loneliness and insomnia with romantic notions of epic adventures and a real need to socialize. It's a world where you can lose and find yourself all at the same time in the color of night.

In an effort to explore this world with out imposition, I brought my DSLR paired with a 50mm 1.4 lens out with me at night over the course of 4 years while living in Los Angeles and traveling around the United States.

    Brooklyn, NY

Timothy Murray is a commercial and editorial photographer/director with Midwestern roots now based Brooklyn. He likes to aim his camera at the heart of life by shooting regular people experiencing raw emotions in available light. This personal work coupled with his technical skills allow him to breathe genuine magic into his commercial endeavors ranging from action sports to celebrity portraiture. When this SCAD gradutate (1997) doesn’t have a camera in his hand, you can find him on the basketball court, making beats and bass lines, hustling victims at foosball or performing a stunning karaoke rendition of David Bowie.
