Today we honor our black Kings. To all of our fathers, sons, brothers, uncles, and friends who are standing tall in the face of adversity, we salute you. We honor the strength and courage it takes to continue to fight for what is right. We honor your commitment to justice and equality. We know that the fight for justice is ongoing and that it can be exhausting. But know that your Queens have your back. We are here to lift you up and to support you in any way we can. We are here to stand in solidarity with you and to create a space where you can be heard and respected.

We are proud of you and we thank you for all that you do to make our world a better place. We honor your courage and resilience and we urge you to keep fighting. Your voice matters and you are making a difference.
