Jenny Turner has been an artist all her life, influenced by her mother, an art teacher and painter, herself. Upon graduation from The Ohio State University with a degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communication, Jenny moved to Michigan where she has lived most of her life. She has worked in various forms of art and design: from jewelry to interior design, to hand painted home furnishings & finishes. For 20+ years she sold residential real estate & raised her family in suburban Detroit. She now lives on Big Lake near Gaylord, MI. She believes that life is a collection of experiences that create emotions within us. Capturing that that feeling in a painting is what she loves to do. Jenny’s paintings can be found from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Colorado, to New Hampshire. She is a member of the Gaylord Area Council for the Arts,& she accepts commissions. When she is not painting, you can find her casting a fly rod, hiking the woods, sitting by a campfire or snuggling with her grandsons.
