During the 15 years that I lived in the British Virgin Islands I made over 11,000 dives. You might say the Ocean was my life, my passion and my lively-hood. My photography career began in the early 1970s and with hundreds of beautiful reefs and shipwrecks in the B.V.I. I had more subjects to photograph than I had time or film. I use digital cameras now, which has simplified undersea photography. Now I have more time to dream.
Luana managed the Aquatic Centres Dive stores and was an excellent underwater model and dive buddy. She was also a wonderful mother to our two children. She was at home on the Rhone and even today the Rhone is her favorite dive site.
