My photographic journey began at the age of twelve with a Kodak Instamatic. The foundations of this lifelong passion were laid within my family: my aunt Teresa introduced me to the technical and expressive depth of the medium through the writings of Andreas Feininger, while my uncle Alberto, a lithography entrepreneur, encouraged my first serious steps. At sixteen, I received an Olympus OM-1 and a 50mm lens — and photography became part of who I am.
I completed a course in Professional Photography at the New York Institute of Photography (NYIP) and launched The Pure Image as both a brand and an online platform. I earned a 1st Class BA (Hons) in Photography from the Open College of the Arts (OCA), part of The Open University in the UK.
