Born and raised in London, I now live in a quiet part of Poland. Though this is my first book, my previous career in management involved extensive writing. A career highlight was achieving a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel and Development, which led to a rewarding shift into that field and enabled me to work while living in France and Poland.

This book is a reflection on the challenges and joys of leaving the UK to begin a new life abroad. It captures my journey—through France and into Poland—shared through words and photographs, taken from my lifelong interest in photography. My hope is that readers can sense the atmosphere, the culture, and the day-to-day reality of a life reshaped by travel.
