Mykal Fix was born and raised in northeast Oklahoma, where he lives happily with his husband and a delightful chaos of fur babies. A lifelong artist and storyteller, Mykal has been writing since high school—but The Van Dimir Files marks his first fully realized novel.

He believes in the power of stories to reshape reality, and he’s just getting started.
