    TAKUMI WINSKY
    Osaka, Japan

Takumi leads the typically unconventional life of a contemporary photographer. Working with different types of cameras, and constantly pushing conventional boundaries, Takumi has a reputation for his unique style and technique. Gaining inspiration from mixed cultures of Japan and Indonesia in which he lives, the work of Takumi has been described as original and the 'wabi-sabi' of photography. His photographic foundation is rooted with moody undertones and monochrome terrains. Using all the elements of tonal contrast, texture, shape, form, and quality of light, Takumi forges a dream landscape for his subject matter. He is a visual creator with a strong base on human emotion and expressive storytelling. Keep in touch to find out more about his creative process and upcoming work.
