    About the Book

    Edit

Victor Spatafora, the photographer, was a student at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago when he captured these photographs taken between September 11 and December of 2001. The photographs document the community reaction to the events of 9/11. He drove through urban environments in Chicago and also visited rural areas in WIsconsin and Illinois. This is a first edition artist book made by the photographer. The collection of over 60 photographs were taken on 35mm film and combine to provide a time capsule of the nation's immediate reaction.
