About the Book
On May 14th, 2018, my daughter Jasmine and I went on a 17-day road-trip to one of the most beautiful parts of this country. The West. Without any help from me, she drove all 4,800 miles round trip. All in we visited California, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, and Nevada.
These specific wide-angle landscapes were shot on black and white film using a Holgapan 120 camera. This book was created as a birthday present for her 35th birthday and is now on sale to the public.
This book is printed on Double-thick, 100# (148 gsm) text stock. Pages lay flat with no center gutter break between pages.

I use toy cameras or old cameras dating back to 1939. The majority of them date back to the 1950s and 1960s. A few have broken shutters or various other things that are not quite right with them. I primarily use black and white film and rely on natural light and the weather to determine how I will shoot a scene. When I go out to shoot, I sometimes have a loose shot list, and at other times, I don't. This forces me to focus on what is around me rather than the camera in my hand.
