Shot in Herring’s native Mississippi, “Neverlasting City” explores the Columbia Training School, a former juvenile detention center for girls. A decade after the school was closed amidst investigations of systemic abuse and sexual assault, its neglected buildings remain intact, overgrown, and unexposed.
