    About the Book

    Edit

Setting up our own imaginary studio provides a frame to create, that is an extension of the imaginary play of our childhood. Setting up an imaginary studio provides an external framework to catch the creative impulse that is coming through us and trying to take shape.

Creating a studio can begin with a piece of paper. The important aspect of the imaginary studio is that every piece gathered has symbolic meaning. In the process of creating our imaginary studio, we become symbolically literate according to our own awareness. Each aspect of our studio whether it is a single picture or a three dimensional model of sorts, is that it visually triggers good feelings of a goal with which we are celebrating and wrestling with simultaneously. Over time our studio gathers and contains the insights that come through us. The physicality of creating an imaginary studio allows us to contemplate on what we are creating as we allow the creation to reveal itself over time, by and by.
