Nancy Bechtol is an Artist, Photgrapher, Educator, Independent Video Producer, educator, and Consultant. Working in media arts for over 35 years, she has a national and international exhibition record. Recognitions include: Midwest Regional Fellow/NEA; Recipient of the Illinois Arts Council Fellowship award in Media Art; Neighborhood Arts Program Artist/Grant Video at Lathrop Homes,CHA.- Dept. of Cultural Affairs, City of Chicago; American Video Conference Award, AFI/Billboard; Tokyo International Video Festival, Special Merit Award in Experimental VideoArt; former President/Director of the ARC Gallery in Chicago.
