    About the Book

    Edit

The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts and the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities have organized a blended invitational and competitive ceramic exhibition for artists from the geographic region of the Continental Divide. Artists from the states of Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and New Mexico were invited to submit work for consideration. This format brings established reputations and emerging talent to bear on the selected theme and adds vitality and fresh perspectives to an ongoing dialogue.

This exhibition seeks to present the similarity and disparity among ceramic vessels and sculptures in the geographic regions of the Continental Divide.

Continental Divide is curated and organized by NCECA Exhibitions Director, Linda Ganstrom; the Arvada Center’s Ceramics Program Coordinator, Bebe Alexander; and the Arvada Center’s Gallery/Museum Exhibition Designer, Collin Parson.
