    About the Book

    Edit

By nature, photographers are a restless breed. They are rarely content unless they are moving about, exploring the world with their eyes, and yes by extension, their cameras. Indeed, it is the camera’s unique capacity to become an extension of the photographer’s seeing –– namely, to examine, and most importantly, to fix in time two-dimensional images from the found world –– that makes the act of “perambulating” so profoundly satisfying for the photographer.

With PERAMBULATIONS, photographer Roger Minick, responding to a wide range of Americana that is both personal and documentary in nature, has herein created a collection of memorable images that surprise and challenge how we see the world.
