    About the Book

    Edit

Many of the people who are the subjects of the biographical sketches in the book, such as Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, Gerald Ford, George Bush, Elliot Richardson, Dick Cheney, and others, were some of the most influential government leaders of their day. Others, including Billy Graham, Bryant Kirkland, and Craig Barnes, were unusually erudite pastors of deep faith. Yet others were well-known men and women of letters, adventurers, military leaders, and brilliant advocates. All of them were greatly admired by the author because of their character, their service to the public, and the craftsmanship which they displayed in their respective callings.
