    About the Book

    Edit

This book is set in 2005 and is about two trips, mainly camping, with Sundowners, a Melbourne company. The first trip was the famous Naadam Festival in Ulaanbaatar. Exploring the beautiful north east Kentii Region for relics of Chinggis Khan's birth was fun. A train took us to the Gobi Desert with its mountains, sand dunes, camels and visitng nomads and their animals. Sleeping was mainly in gers. Cultural experiences were also amazing such as dancing, throat singing, acrobatics, museums, buddhist monasteries.
