    Este é o livro do projeto “Transitivo Direto” exposto na Oi Futuro.



    Baseia-se na captura de pessoas e ações passageiras. Ao observarmos as fotografias, a primeira coisa que nos vem a cabeça, porém, é a definição gramatical da expressão do título: “são verbos que indicam que o sujeito pratica a ação, sofrida por outro elemento, denominado objeto direto”.



    Assim são os registros de Marcos Semola: momentos únicos que mexem com todos os sentidos. Fazem-nos lembrar ações já vistas, vividas ou imaginadas; puxam pela nossa memória e trazem recortes com histórias e cenas que observamos, que fazem parte de nossas vidas, as quais, por vezes, nem damos a importância que merecem.



    Estes são registros de pura ação do fotógrafo ao capturar o cotidiano das cidades onde morou. Marcos Semola consegue descobrir e eternizar momentos que jamais veremos acontecer novamente. Ao viajarmos com ele, através de sua exclusiva maneira de observar e apreciar todas as cenas que são apresentadas nesta série, temos a oportunidade de ir além das imagens congeladas: celebramos a vida, as múltiplas e infinitas vidas que aqui são apresentadas.

    Marcos Semola is Italo-Brazilian born in 1972 in the city of Rio de Janeiro. IT Executive, MBA professor and photographer, member of ABAF - Brazilian Association of Photographic Art, Getty Images and the London Independent Photography, Marcos has been producing authorial images found in private collections and art galleries around the world, especially London, Paris and Rio/Brazil, and includes national and international exhibitions where his best known work in street-noir style, "Direct Transitive" and "Mind your Step" won recognition and expression. It is self-taught and enthusiast of art-photography whether film or digital, reason why he has also devise collective projects, share and exchange as much information with other practitioners. His photographs are sold with a limited edition, signed by the author and on museological quality paper and cotton Hahnemuehle, exclusively in Brazil by Susi Cantarino art dealer, gallery Metara, Rua Teixeira de Melo 25, Ipanema, Rio/Brazil
