About the Book
In October and November of 2015, Colin Gibbs was Artist-in-Residence at Epsom Normal Primary School in Auckland, Aotearoa-New Zealand.
During this time, the children learned about "I am an artist."
Each week Colin painted in the school, and talked with the children about being an artist.
In these ways, children experienced walking in the shoes of an artist.
This book is about the artist, some of his personal stories, and some of his paintings, including those he completed while at the school.
