    About the Book

    Edit

This book contains two kids' short stories written in verse with photographs and illustrations by the author. One is about a heroic elephant, Nero, and, the other, So Who Are Those Odd-Looking Creatures?, is a kind of weird and funny story about a hero baboon. Although the stories are principally for kids, adults should also find them entertaining, Make what you will of these tales, but make no mistake about the author's love, respect, and concern for the animals they describe, as well as all of the beautiful animals of this world.

    Lincolnshire, IL 66669

Educated at the University if Michigan and Northwestern School of Law, I live in Lincolnshire, Illinois with my trophy wife, Patsy, two dogs and two cats. After retiring from the law business after fifty years of practice, I began to write rhyming poetry to match photographs taken on safari. My first book, "Never Pull A Lion's Tail" was a compilation of those works, and I have followed that up with "I Finally Pulled A Lion's Tail", another compilation of all kinds of phoetry, plus two short animal stories in verse with photo-illustrations. I have also written three novels: "And Other Immoral Purposes", "A Tale of Two Lawyers", plus "The Wanted". We have two daughters, two sons, three children-in-law, five grandsons, and one grandchild-in-law. Life is good.
