About the Book
This is the definitive collection of all issues of Subaud Magazine. Subaud Magazine was an independent, non-profit, nationally distributed publication based in Melbourne that began as a reaction to an architectural print culture dominated by the glossy publication boom in the late nineties. The first edition was released in April 2002. It was anti-establishment, punk, smarts and handmade on a photocopier. The creators were called Dire Tribe, formed by - Mark Raggatt, Christos Kastaniotis and a range of other students, writers and collaborators. After seeing issue one, the designers at Urchin began designing each issue after that.
