    About the Book

    Edit

Turtle Heart. Ojibwe American Indian artist, writer, photographer. Keeper and teacher/consultant in American Indian ceremony, ritual and culture. Studied with many tribal elders all across America. Poems written for Solstice and Equinox rituals, 1985-20014. This is the only known volume of poetry in the world dedicated to and specific to American Indian Sacred Ceremony. This work is about the feelings, the emotions and sensations that come up in a beautiful tribal ceremony. These road-mark revelations along an emotional and spiritual journey by an American Indian artist and Pipe Carrier. A rare gift of enormous beauty.
