Princess Cruise Line: Baltic Sea Cruise - From the glorious spires of St. Petersburg and the idyllic waterfront of Stockholm to the fjords of the Norwegian coast, Princess Cruises can show you all the inspiring sights of this breathtaking region on a their Baltic Sea Cruise.

Vikings and Norse explorers once sailed these waters and you can too on a Scandinavian cruise, en route to places like cosmopolitan Oslo , the 14 islands of Stockholm , the Finnish capital of Helsinki and the Old city of Tallinn, where time has seemingly stood still.

Few places can match St. Petersburg for sheer opulence. Known as the “Venice of the North,” this grand city is home to such treasures as the world famous State Hermitage Museum, Peterhof and Catherine palaces, as well as elaborate parks and magnificent cathedrals.

Berlin is a worthy rival to London or Paris in terms of history, art and culture. The city's highlights include the restored Reichstag Building with its magnificent glass dome and the stunning Pergamon Museum.

Copenhagen deserves its accolade as the Venice of the North. Founded on a series of islands and islets, the city today is laced with graceful canals and boasts some of the most delightful architecture in Northern Europe. See the fabled statue of Hans Christian Andersen's Little Mermaid, a symbol of the city. Stroll along the old harbor of Nyhavn, lined with cafés, restaurants and 500-year-old gabled houses.

Lying at the head of Aurlands fjord, this small village of some 400 people is surrounded by snowcapped mountains, isolated farmsteads and waterfalls. Flåm also boasts the extraordinary Flåms Railway. One of the most dramatic train rides in Europe, the Flåm Railway takes an hour to cover 10 miles, hugging cliffs, plunging through tunnels and pausing for its passengers to admire the views as it ascends the Flåm Valley to Myrdal, a desolate mountain plateau.

I'm an armateur photographer and enjoy not only photography but creating photo books from my images. My first book on Blurb is my trip to Europe in 2007 aboard the Celebrity cruise ship the Millennium. I recommend it highly. Since then, my wife and I have traveled to the UK, France, Copenhagen, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Alaska, Russia, China (includes Tibet), Germany, Canada, Caribbean, etc. My books highlight these locations. My equipment is primarily Nikon. My main camera is the Nikon D810 and I have an assortment of lenses spanning from wide angle (10mm) to telephoto (500mm).
