“Let’s just pause a moment.”

With this simple request comes a certain permission to relax and let go of any tension or stress that is being felt in relationship within the self or with others. This book of photographs and prose is about the pauses in life. The idea came to me when people visiting exhibits of mine mentioned that a peaceful feeling that emanated from the photographs caused them to take a second look and experience a moment of calmness. They actually used the words; “We came back here to calm down.”
