Peter Myner is a head scientist, working on something called the "Daybreak Project" at the prestigious Mallambina Scientific Research Centre. His research assistant Michelle is a trusted aide and together they are working with animals, teaching them to "talk".



Things, however, do not continue well and Peter meets a young boy named James and together they become an unwilling part of an experiment themselves and involved in a fight for life far more sinister than they could have ever imagined.
