    About the Book

One can imagine what a true storm is like. It’s calm and eerie before she strikes; hot and smoldering – like in a smoldering bowl. Obvious tell, tell signs are in the sea – it warms till it can’t breathe. And needs to fight to free itself, so the churning and groaning begin to heave the waters into a spout upon the sea. And this spout grows larger and larger while slowly making its way to land – getting a running start before she strikes – while trying to free herself of the hot and salty sea. Sometimes the storm spins herself out before she hits the land, but this big one keeps her eye on where she wants to vent her anger and bids her time till the moment is right – then she sends her blow and water upon the land in such a way nothing is likely to stand where she lands. She warns the people with her train like sounds before structures give way- sounds of window panes breaking, roof tops giving way and twisting of trees – moaning and groaning as they fall. But if the eye of the storm circles overhead - calmness appears for a moment in time, before the winds and sounds change directions to finish off what its front had downed. Many a storm has come and gone, leaving dead and mangled parts strewn around. But lastly, glad tidings come with thankful hearts for some life and limb have been spared to restart.

The sea of life bears much resemblance to the stormy sea; this little book will tell of such a moment in time and the hope given to man. Our story begins in 1561 London at White Gables Boarding School. A gripping era with storm filled lives.
