an online B&W photography exhibition



is a tribute to the art of B&W photography

and printing, as well as to the many wonderful

people I have had the pleasure of photographing over the years.



The online exhibit is a labor of love, I have a multitude of images and each image takes hours to complete. As I scan and retouch additional film, the images will be displayed in the online gallery.



This exhibition is a blending of traditional (film based) photography and digital imaging. The images were shot using either 35mm or 6x7 B&W film. The film is then scanned retouched and printed digitally.



The prints from the exhibition are made using the same baryta coated, fibre based paper that hangs in museums throughout the world.



I have incorporated many techniques that I use as a tradition B&W printer into these digital images, as well as many techniques that are impossible to achieve traditionally.
