A book of prayers written by pastors and members in the 83 congregations within the Illinois South Conference of the United Church of Christ. There are several types of prayers, including: baptism, confession, confirmation, invocation, healing, offering dedication, welcome, thanksgiving, and many, many others.



This book gives a little bit of the history of the conference, with photos and founding dates for every church. It's also a liturgical resource, with a wonderful variety of prayers reflecting the diversity of the churches within the conference. Multiple indexes make it easy to find prayers by type, churches by name, churches by location, and churches by founding date.



DuBois Center, ISC's Conference Retreat and Summer Camp, is featured on the covers. They contributed the only benediction within the book.
