About the Book
This is my first, and very likely my last novel. It started as a loose collection of ideas, and after a few false starts and fits of enthusiasm, all 60,000 words are now finished. Strange sort of theme, and very loose research, but it kept me amused. It's also more expensive than I'd envisaged, but at least there's the the e-book. If you do read it, I'd love your comments. Dedicated family man, reasonably travelled. Long-playing, but unspectacular guitarist, incurable fix-it addict, will mend, or attempt to mend anything.
