    My children are all grown up now. I wrote Later On, Daphne because I wanted my nephew to have at least one book that normalizes same-sex parents. I hopes the story is charming enough to appeal to many children and their parents, regardless of gender and orientation. Perhaps one day I will be able to read it to grandchildren of my own.
