    Questo è un diario di viaggio durante un soggiorno di due settimane nei Territori Palestinesi Occupati (Cisgiordania). Siamo nell'ottobre 2022. Vengono alla luce le sfide quotidiane dei palestinesi che vivono sotto l'occupazione, qui il banale diventa straordinario perchè la discriminazione sistemica e la violenza sono la norma. È una morte per stillicidio. Eppure, paradossalmente, persiste una società di straordinario calore umano, resilienza e vitalità. Il viaggio svela il profondo divario tra la realtà sul campo e la percezione — o indifferenza — del mondo occidentale. Questo libro tenta di colmare quel divario.

    L'atto politico più importante che si possa compiere qui è semplicemente presentarsi, testimoniare e rifiutarsi di distogliere lo sguardo.
