About the Book
Hau‘ula Elementary School — Where Hau‘ula Still Smiles is a heartfelt tribute to a beloved coastal school and the generations it shaped. Through warm memories of May Day celebrations, kickball games beneath kamani trees, and classrooms filled with laughter and aloha, this book captures a time when learning was rooted in culture, community, and care.
Honoring the teachers, families, and keiki who shared its halls and fields, this story celebrates a place where every child was known, traditions were cherished, and values were lived daily. Though times have changed, the spirit of Hau‘ula endures — in memories, friendships, and a legacy of love.
