About the Book
Pogopolazink
A word I coined to give meaning to the collages I made with PoGo
thermal paper, expired or no longer suitable film, and Zink, which, for those unfamiliar
with it, is called printing with Zink (Zero Ink) technology, a patent from the
well-known Polaroid company, which for years has focused on
instant printing technologies.
You don't have to worry about inks or cartridges because the paper
already contains the pigment; this will change color based on the temperature
applied by the printer!
In less than a minute, you'll get a practical, low-quality print.
Zink paper is as easy to manipulate as old Polaroid film!
Since it was released on the market between 2008 and 2010, the transition period between
the demise of the Polaroid brand and the birth of the Impossible Project,
I didn't want to repress my instinct to manipulate and research,
to create stories and transform.
Furthermore, the idea of experimenting and seeing digital photographs from a different perspective,
which I consider a bit cold compared to film,
stimulated me even more!
So, as soon as I bought the PoGo, I immediately started manipulating.
