About the Book
Writing a novel such as this is never a simple undertaking. It is not a matter of arranging words on paper or typing until the hours wear themselves down. It is a matter of entering into a world that does not exist except in the faint lines of imagination and then breathing life into that world until it can stand upright before you. When one begins such a story - this story - there is little sense of where it will truly end. Characters arrive as fragments of thought, perhaps a name, a whispered line of dialogue, or even a fleeting image glimpsed in my dreams. Yet with time, those fragments harden into presence. It questions what happens when memories are no longer solely our own, especially when manipulated by unseen forces. This led to the creation of Echo Stone, a man whose ambitions focus on possessing human lives through the theft of memory. Opposing him is Samantha Timberwolf, an unlikely hero who survives and testifies, refusing to let silence cage her.

About the Creator
I am an Australian citizen who now resides with my wife in the great State of Ohio U.S.A. following our retirement I have an interest in writing verse as well as poetry and in my spare time, I enjoy the peaceful surroundings of my woodwork shop where I create turned items on the lathe and enjoy the creative arts of that special piece of timber. In the vast expanse of my retired life, I find myself immersed in dream time - a realm where the burdens of my professional life have gracefully faded, leaving behind only the memories of accomplishments and camaraderie gained. As the sun rises each morning these days, I wake with a smile, for the word "work" no longer carries the same definition or weight of obligation but instead whispers the promises of pleasure and purpose. In this newfound chapter, I am free to savor life's simple delights - the warmth of the morning sun on my face, the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze, and the sweet melody of bird songs that grace my ears.
