About the Book
This collection of images is not only a visual journey through the world of cars and motorcycles but also a tribute to a place that has become intertwined with the essence of family and home—the Old Place in Historic Agoura Hills. Though not the starting point of our rides, this place became a cherished destination for us, where we would gather on our Sunday outings, a meeting we fondly referred to as "Sunday Service." The peaceful beauty of the canyon, its winding roads, and its quiet charm made it the perfect backdrop for countless Sunday morning gatherings.
The title Canyon Peacocks extends beyond the literal peacocks that roam the area—it’s also a nod to the spirit of “peacocking” itself. In our own ways, we all show up to express who we are, through our rides, our threads, and our shared passion for the culture that connects us.
