About the Book
The story is based on real events and people, with names changed for privacy and to maintain authenticity.
Whether you are a skeptic or a believer, this objectively and analytically written brainteaser leaves you, the reader, to use your detective intellect to draw your own conclusions.
Our story concerns a young couple: she is eighteen, and he is twenty. She is the daughter of a Baptist minister. Her mother passed away two years earlier, when the daughter was sixteen. Her father, now a widower, remarried and started a second family.
The newlyweds, or the young couple, married in the fall of 1919. He served in the army during World War I. Our mystery centers on one of their fifteen children, the oldest daughter, Myra, when she is in her mid-thirties.
You are introduced and entertained with highlights of her parents’ and siblings’ lives throughout Myra’s intriguing problem. Her story begins during World War II, after she enlists in the Women’s Army Corps. From this short interlude, it continues with her marriage, then a child, and moves to seven years of a bewildering invasion into her daily life by aliens from another world.
Hang on. It continues with mindboggling events surrounding Myra, her family, her friends, and neighbors; not to mention, the military and the FBI get involved.
Although the military has concealed records of Myra’s situation, she has never publicly or officially reported her circumstances. These incidents stem from the strange visitors and from her secret rendezvous every month. In secret – because these intruders blocked her ability to recall them for seven years.
The enigma continues. Myra’s puzzling life stresses her immensely; however, eventually, she is allowed to remember.
Upon recalling her alien interludes, she discovers she came face to face with death because of one scheming sojourner.
The memory of all these episodes and more returns to her conscious mind. You will learn the rest of this spellbinding story as you read each chapter.
