Andante: Taitung is a 42-page photobook created with a 4×5 large-format camera, moving at the slow rhythm of walking through Taiwan’s mountains and sea. What began as archaeological and linguistic research into Austronesian heritage became something more intimate—visual letters formed in dialogue with the land itself. Printed on fine art paper, the book invites readers to slow down, turn each page with care, and experience how landscape holds memory, presence, and transformation. Andante is both a debut and an invitation: to see place not only as subject, but as a companion.
