About the Book
My third book of poems.
Some of them are dedicated to my usual fixations: the nature in my backyard, the nature of my mind, and what those hint about the nature of the universe. But I also tried some unusual topics.
A rusty wrench, a mysterious cave. The evolution of chickens and eyelashes. Political polarization. The most famous joke in computer science. The impending AI takeover, unwise choices in composting, Isaac Newton's love life, and the space behind the drywall where the spiders live.
Section 1 is about the strangeness and beauty of life on this tilted planet with its limited number of revolutions.
Section 2 considers doubt and disillusionment, the preciousness of honesty, and what it means to disbelieve a sanctioned narrative.
Section 3 concerns the mind of a person who feels out of step, who feels too much and thinks too deeply about things that others often find easy.
Section 4 is about fear and anxiety in the face of an unpredictable and accelerating future.
Section 5 is dedicated to love and the way it rules us, both when fulfilled and when denied.

About the Creator
I love poetry and I'm always writing it. After a while the collection builds up, and it feels pointless to leave it sitting in my Google Drive where no one else will read it, so I make books.
