    About the Book

    Edit

Developed as a cause-driven project*, Lost + Found is a soulful exploration of the human journey, traced through decades of poetry by Erika Carruth. In this two-part collection, Lost captures the voice of a seeker—navigating through grief, identity, uncertainty, and the aching question of where one belongs. These earlier poems are raw with longing and the quiet chaos of becoming.

In Found, time ripens the voice into one rooted in gratitude, memory, and connection. Here, Carruth reflects on the richness of motherhood, the tenderness of relationships, and the peace that can bloom from pain. Yet, this is not a tale of resolution—it is a testament to the idea that being lost is not the opposite of being found, but its beginning.

With grace and clarity, Lost + Found reminds us that every detour, every unraveling, is a part of becoming whole.
This is a book for those still searching—and those who have learned to be at home in the search.
