About the Book
Graffiti has been a staple of NYC culture since 1967. In 1973 it was heavily seen on MTA train cars. In 2013, one of the most well known communities of Queens called 5Pointz was whitewashed, a place for artists to come together and legally express themselves. The impact of this loss was felt throughout the five boroughs but didn't stop the city from still expressing itself. This is a collection from 2012 until now.
