    About the Book

The story traces the life of Eleanor, a 72-year-old woman whose gradual memory loss and cognitive decline eventually lead to a diagnosis of early-stage Alzheimer's disease. Initially attributing her forgetfulness to aging, Eleanor begins experiencing more alarming symptoms, including forgetting her son's name and other personal details. A visit to a neurologist and subsequent tests reveal the devastating news: she has Alzheimer's, a progressive and degenerative condition that destroys brain cells and impairs cognitive function.

As her condition worsens, Eleanor struggles with memory loss, confusion, and difficulty performing basic tasks. This decline affects not only her mind but also her body, as she loses motor control, coordination, and the ability to care for herself. Her daughter, Laura, becomes her primary caregiver, facing overwhelming stress and emotional burden as she watches her mother deteriorate.
