Color Volume 2 takes some of Jeff’s color photos, mostly from his series of works, Moments Between the Grace Notes. LeFever worked this series congruently with his photo study of The Consecrated Space (books and magazines from this series are available here at Blurb). Those spaces are the "Grace Notes,” and the moments “in-between" are his observations of life happening candidly, daily around him as he walked from one church to the next. Common and non-dramatic things that go by otherwise unnoticed, and yet we all experience or encounter—the less photographically celebrated as epitomes, but beautiful in a more real way, less contrived, with an “everyday” sense. Captures of places and moments—seeing everyday beauty flowing by at the street level.
