About the Book

I stayed in Laos fore only two weeks in the summer of 2023. Still I can say that Laos has much to offer. Beautiful nature and temples, kind people, and good food.

But it is also a poor country and tourism has done goods things but also bad things. Remote villages turned in to a backpackers domain, but after Covid it shows sad remains of those days.

In my photographic work I focus mainly on daily life because that is what we share as the first needs for life.

Na vijfentwintig jaar gewerkt te hebben als fotograaf, sta ik nu voor de klas. Ik geef aan havo/vwo leerlingen Kunst Algemeen (KUA), en de praktische kunstvakken (Te, hvh, Ckv).
