    Junie Welsh
    Nashville, TN

Hello and welcome! My name is Junie Welsh and I am a therapist. I treat adults in both TN and CA struggling with trauma, current or past substance abuse, or have been affected by the substance abuse of a loved one. I am an enneagram 8, dog mom, Cancer sun, Scorpio moon and rising, and a jam band lover (the Grateful Dead specifically.) I am a Nashville native and began my education in Psychology with my first psych class at Harpeth Hall—an all-girls school that taught me to be fearless, independent, and to always show up. I started my bachelor’s in psychology at Sewanee: The University of the South, and after some personal experience with substance abuse and the effects of substance abuse, finished my senior year at Tennessee State University. I proceeded with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health at Trevecca and started my career in residential substance abuse treatment. I firmly believe in the power of journaling, connecting with your inner child, and becoming your own loving parent.
