About the Book
What started as an exercise in composition; over time, became this zine project. My dog Nori and I like to do a daily walk on an eight tenths of a mile section of trail near where we live in Sweet Home, Oregon. This trail is a little piece of nature on a hill behind my house. Nothing I would consider photogenic, just the usual native plants, like ferns, trees and grasses, along with the usual invasive species you might find near a city. The images in this zine are some of my favorites made over the course of a year. I hope you enjoy coming along as we make art from the ordinary on our daily walk.
