    About the Book

    Edit

Twenty-nine poems from the early 90s to about 2006, from Chris Bevens, a poet living in Seattle, WA. The landscapes of the American Southwest, Northwest, and Northern New York state are frequently the stage for these investigations of loss and grief and love and lust. Chris has an MFA from the Naropa Institute where he was fortunate to study with the subject of one of this collection's poems, "I Don't Get Paid Enough to Read This Kind of Shit".
