      About the Book

      Edit

At the end of the 1920s, George Balanchine brought a second generation of Russian émigré dancers to the stages of Europe. His Cotillon, from 1932, reflects the 'glamourously hectic nature' of that world. Hodson and Archer have reconstructed five of Balanchine's major works from the era that were nearly lost to time. This bijou book is the last in the series Balanchine's Twenties by Trapeze Press.
